Common questions
Why doesn't Pacer move when I check things off?
On purpose. Pacer walks with time: one day of waiting is one step along the trail, so he can never fall behind or be pushed back. What you do lights the trail he has walked. One or two of your three light a candle, all three light a lantern, and a rest day leaves a smooth stone.
How do I get new village pieces?
Every other day you show up, Pacer finds a new piece. Tap the house button on the map to choose what it is and where it goes. Tap a piece on the map to walk inside and meet the neighbors.
How do I add another stop or change a date?
Open Settings with the gear on the map. Under “Where you're going,” tap a stop to change it, or tap “Add a stop.”
How do I change my three?
Open Settings and tap “Your three.” Old things are kept so past days still read the way they happened.
How do I add the widgets?
Touch and hold an empty part of your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Bimble. The trail widget shows how far Pacer has come; the second widget lets you check off your three without opening the app.
My reminders aren't arriving.
Check that the reminder is on in Bimble's Settings, and that notifications are allowed for Bimble in the iOS Settings app. Focus modes and Notification Summary can also hold reminders back.
Will my walk move to a new phone?
Your walk is kept on your phone, so it comes along when you set up a new phone from a backup of your old one (iCloud Backup or a computer backup). You can also save your walk as a readable file from Settings at any time.
How do I turn off the music or sounds?
Open Settings and use the Sound toggles. The ring/silent switch on your phone also hushes both.
